Mahesh Kukreja immigrated to the United States in 1979 and started a prosperous plastic recycling company. Throughout his 40-year career, he invested in real estate and became known for his honesty and sincerity. In 1998, Mahesh, founded K Group with the vision of creating a company dedicated to real estate investment. Over the years, the company has invested in a variety of assets, including multifamily, single-family, and industrial properties in the tristate area. Today, K Group not only owns and manages a diverse portfolio of properties but has also expanded into real estate development. He continues to lead and guide both the plastic recycling and real estate businesses.
Graduated from Stem School of Business (NYU) in 1996, with a degree in Finance & International Business — Vishal entered the world of corporate finance and worked with Sandler O’Neil & Partners for two years as a financial analyst. Wanting to learn how to acquire and manage real estate, he then worked with a boutique real estate investment firm called BNS Real Estate in NYC, learning how to acquire distressed properties, add value, maximize rent, as well as manage them. He worked with BNS for over 5 years, Vishal then joined the family business and concentrated on enhancing the real estate business. Vishal is accountable for procurement and finance of K Group’s portfolio.
Graduated from New York University in 2007 with a Masters in Education. After her brief stint in Education, Tina joined K GROUP in 2010. She bought with her excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Due to her analytical ability and project management skills, K GROUP has experienced exponential growth in the years after she joined. Tina’s responsibilities include personnel management and financial control.
Shiv has a wealth of experience in consulting, marketing, and finance. He earned a degree in Economics and Psychology from Rutgers University and worked as a financial analyst for two years before joining the plastic recycling business. Shiv is now spearheading the plastic recycling business and is also supporting K Group’s real estate ventures.
Team Members
Barbara came to K GROUP with a background in insurance. Barbara prides herself on her organizational skills as well quick prompt responses to tenants needs. Her responsibilities include tenant customer service and building management.
Bayron is K Group’s construction manager. With over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, Bayron’s expertise allows K Group to implement cost saving strategies in the construction process, while significantly increasing the value of K Groups portfolio.
Juan serves as the property manager. He oversees all K Groups daily property management needs. Juan’s primary responsibility is to keep all properties operating at optimal performance levels.
K Groups Office Accountant. Unnati is responsible for insuring that all property and projects run at peak performance.
Team Goal
Vishal, Shiv, Tina, and the entire K Group team are continuing to build upon Mahesh’s vision. Their goal is to keep acquiring properties with untapped potential while maintaining strong, beneficial relationships with tenants, lenders, brokers, and other housing professionals, based on trust and integrity.
